Google now comes up with the new version of android M.Google's new version of Android will be available to developers starting today, Currently google android m preview version is available for nexus 5,6,9 and nexus player.
It comes up with the following features:
1.Fingerprint Support Means (Nearly) the End of Passwords and PINs for Certain Phones
2.Android Pay Overhauls Google’s Mobile Payments with their fingerprint over NFC, just like Apple Pay.
3.Direct Share Lets You Send Stuff to Common Contacts
4.Text Selection Gets a Lot Better, Adds a Floating Toolbar
5.Volume Controls Have Been Simplified (After Lollipop Screwed Them Up)
6.Chrome custom tabs is a another new feature coming with Android M that allows websites to add buttons and menu items to the browser
7.Google announced that it will allow app developers to put in app-to-app links in their codes
8.The Doze feature basically uses motion detection to see if the device has been left alone unattended for a long time and it will stop real-time updates during that period.
9.USB-C support for faster Android charging. Google said that devices will charge 3 times faster with USB-C and can charge other devices
10.This is an extremely cool new feature within Google Now that’s always ready to assist by just a long press of the home button

Steps to install android M in nexus 5,6 and 9
Method 1
- Download developer preview from here
- Unzip the file
- Connect your device to your computer via USB cable and ensure debugging mode is enabled.
- Open an ADB command line.
- Enter adb reboot bootloader to access your device’s bootloader
- Go to the folder containing your factory image.
- Enter flash-all to run the installation script.
Method 2
- Download developer preview from here
- Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power as the device begins booting up in fastboot mode
- Browse for the file in smartphone
- Select the file and click ok
